Wisconsin's Door Penninsula

In 1992, Gary Kiracofe and his family moved off Mackinac Island and ventured to Wisconsin's Door Penninsula. A few months later, Gary opened his second retail establishment in the quaint village of Ephraim. The Door County Scrimshander is nestled among the award-winning gardens of Green Gables, North Ephraim's elite shopping district.

Because space is not an issue, Gary has expanded his inventory to include handmade art by a variety of artists in several mediums, including woodcarvings, ship models, custom cutlery, and leather products. The Door County Scrimshanders is open from April through December, 10 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week during prime season.
