Prestigious Host

Mystic Scrimshanders was established in 1996 in Mystic, CT, and is the host of the prestigious Mystic Scrimshanders National Scrimshaw Competition. The competition draws the best artists from all over the world.

Owner/Artist Barbara Cullen can often be seen creating scenes of wildlife, portraits and mermaids on ancient walrus, prehistoric mammoth and old whale teeth on the premises.

Mystic Scrimshanders has recently moved to 14 Main Street in historic Wickford Village in Rhode Island. Please join us for "Cocktails & Music" every Friday night. We have different live music every week. Call for information.
